Inspired by the storybook charm of England’s Cotswolds, the Konrad Cottage invites you into a space that feels both transported and timeless. The space is covered in dainty details that make the space feel elevated, yet lived-in.
The kitchen is layered with warmth—rich tones, tactile materials, and thoughtful details that strike a balance between refinement and everyday livability. Bathed in natural light, the kitchen feels inviting and lived-in, a space where function meets feeling and heritage is thoughtfully reimagined.
In this renovation, our goal was to honor the home’s original character while reintroducing a sense of history and soul. Marble countertops and a freestanding worktable island anchor the space, creating not just a place for preparation, but a natural gathering point. Handcrafted ceramic pendants and a French-inspired range lend a subtle European sensibility, while custom elements—like the plate rack and decorative alcove—add depth and individuality.
The paint palette was thoughtfully selected to evoke the warmth and intimacy of a European café, enveloping the space in rich, inviting tones.
Designing this kitchen in collaboration with our dear friend Lauren brought an added layer of meaning to the process. Her trust in our vision allowed the space to fully come into its own, realized with intention, character, and a true sense of potential.
