Ashley and Ella first met while working on the creative team for a luxury home builder. Instantly, the two shared an inseparable bond built on their mutual love for timeless design, homebrewed lattes and a well-recited New Girl quote. Upon leaving their positions in the construction industry, the pair decided to write a new chapter in their collective story, and Era Design House was born. Together, Ashley and Ella share the rare combination of experience, passion, vision and talent needed to create spaces that are truly unique to each client. While they live and play in the heart of the Midwest, their work has been a welcomed guest within the walls of uncommonly authentic homes nationwide. 
meet the team
This is Ashley, one half of Era Design House. Her days are usually filled with chasing two littles around, cleaning up messes, and deciding what’s for dinner— She wouldn’t have it any other way! You could say her love for a good slice of pizza & binge watching a show runs deep. Her personal aesthetic tends to lean a bit more minimal, but with a lived-in, earthy feel—think old world charm, soapstone surfaces, and tonal colors inspired by nature. She's so excited to share some beautiful spaces with you all! xo

ASHLEY

This is Ella, the other half of Era Design House. She has a passion for all things design, baking, crisp fall weather, & gardening. She graduated Iowa State University with a BFA in Interior Design. Her personal aesthetic tends to stay on the more traditional side - think 1800s colonial, cape cod, old English cottage, and very creaky wood. She is so delighted you’re here and cannot wait to show you what they’ve got in the works! xo
