Introducing Historic Wynnewood
Built in 1920, this historic home sat quietly among cobblestone streets, white picket fences, and centuries-old oak trees. Though full of charm, the interiors were dated and disconnected from the home's storybook surroundings. Our clients, eager to honor their family roots and the original spirit of the house, dreamed of something timeless yet deeply personal.
In partnership with Penn Construction and Archer & Buchanan Architecture, we are on an 18-month journey to thoughtfully renovate the full home — focusing on hard finishes. Our design vision: to blend the classic, American cottage character of the original home with the clean, colorful modernity found in Puerto Rican design, creating a layered and meaningful space.
Throughout the renovation, every decision has been made to preserve the historic soul of the home while introducing fresh moments. Original architectural details were honored and enhanced, while new materials and textures paid homage to the client's vibrant heritage. As the project comes to life, the house stands as a quiet, beautiful conversation between past and present.
